Hurricane Matthew moves on.... and we are getting ready

It was touch and go last week as Hurricane Matthew romped up the Atlantic coast of Florida and through the states north.  Friends in North Carolina we will be meeting on the tour got much rain, and suffered power outages as did millions from Daytona Beach to the Outer Islands.  But the storm is moving out to sea and the people along the coast and a hundred or so miles inland are drying out and working hard cleaning up the mess.

Today is Sunday... the Mog South meet starts next Friday, so there appears to be enough time for everything in Florida to come together.   Our plan is to leave Wednesday morning for the three day trip to Florida,  Now the challenge is to find a spot for everything we need to pack in our diminutive Morgan Roadster for the planned 17 day trip from Ohio to Florida, then on to Arizona.

Rear luggage shelf, where most of the stuff goes.

Half of the shelf will hold stuff for the car (tools, cleaning materials, and fire extinguisher)  The other half is reserved for water, hand luggage, snack food, jackets etc.  Two waterproof suitcases mount on the luggage rack on the rear deck.   Oh, and a couple of rolls of quarters for coin laundries and car washes along the way.
